I’m very new to the TGR forum experience, putting me on pace to be a respected member about five years after my death. They’re a rough bunch over there, but there’s one surefire way into their hearts: sponsor Sage Cattabriga-Alosa. The dude is their Wallisch, Tanner, and Dumont all rolled into one. Therefore, the following press release comes as no major surprise. Let’s just hope that Scott throws similar money at Level 1 for their new boy wonder- Tom Wallisch.
TGR announces Atomic as its new premium ski sponsor.
Jackson Hole, WY (1/21/2010) — Teton Gravity Research, world-renowned leader in action sports filmmaking, is pleased to announce Atomic as its new premium ski sponsor. The new partnership underscores Atomic’s commitment to North American freeride skiing and to producing innovative skis for the top riders in the world. With an athlete roster that boasts such riders as Daron Rahlves, Chris Benchetler, Dana Flahr and newly added team member Sage Cattabriga-Alosa , Atomic is a natural partner for TGR.
Teton Gravity Research and Atomic both have a long history as trendsetters and innovators in their respective fields. Todd Jones, co-founder and producer at TGR says, “Atomic has shown a clear commitment to freeride skiing and has the product to back it up. With the recent addition of Sage to their athlete team, we couldn’t be happier to have Atomic as our partner.”
Atomic is huge and seems to be just shifting where they’re spending their $ and capitalizing on Rossi’s downfall and cuts. I’m talking from race to the US freeride market with i guess is globally influential.
I love this post.
