yeah lots of people work hard…. i think skiers in general love being lazy so they get all worked up when they have to work hard… even if it is getting paid to rip or film. I work really hard at SASS cold calling high school girls and trying to convince them to go to Argentina for the summer, but i didn’t make a movie about it… yet.

I with you on gripe #2 especially. I know that it can take like 12 hours to “get a shot”, it’s part of the process, but nobody needs to hear that in a movie from some 19 year old ski pro…save that shit for behind the scenes if anyone actually cares. People used to work 12 hr shifts in factories at that age goddammmit.

Shmipe #1: I think this is pretty obvious; Without sponsors, there would not be very many ski movies (at least not any made by dudes who have moved out of their parents houses)

Companies who are going to shell out real cash are going to expect that their products will be represented on screen enough to get on little Timmy’s Christmas list.
