Our friend Guido Martelli, Marketing Coordinator for Big Boulder Park in Pennsylvania has confirmed that the all-park resort will be hosting a special film event on Saturday, April  9. After a winter spent working on his DJ career, Jon Brogan will be returning to snow for an invite-only film shoot at the mountain. Filmers for both Meathead Films and Level 1 Productions will be on hand to attempt to capture the first single-day segment in ski movie history. Brogan has promised to lap park from 8am to 8pm and not ski again for the rest of the year.

Big Boulder Park is the incubator that produced both Brogan and Sean Jordan, and they have been known for their creative Spring film setups. Guido told us, “After late March and early April snowstorms, we have a snowpack that rivals most Januaries. We’re not releasing details, but the features will range from legitimate, concrete urban re-creations to world-class jumps.”

Freedle Coty of Level 1 would not give us an interview, but released the following statement on his blog: “Berman and I are excited to have the chance to film with Jon Brogan once again. We can’t wait to see how his new DJ skills translate to the snow. It should be epic. Expect about ten minutes of pure Brogan footage in next year’s movie.”
