Saga Best 180 of 2012: Semi-Finals **Wednesday Update!

Well, after many days of responsible work habits, I finally went out of my way to ignore my adult responsibilities and look through the dozen of entries you loyal readers sent in. There were nollies, bomb drops, hucked pow drops to flat, pros and amateurs, but ultimately, it came down to a North American (and by no means intentionally) Saga-heavy lineup who really threw down the ‘best’ 180s of the last calendar year. I couldn’t winnow it down past these six, so we’re going to run a semi-finals and finals-finals format here. Here’s how it’s going to work:

Take a gander through the following six (6) 180 semi-finalist videos. The Youtube videos should start at the beginning of the desired trick, while Vimeo you’ll have to scroll manually to the time listed (damn you, Vimeo!), or you could just watch all the skiing leading up to the trick, if you’re into skiing. Then hit up the poll below and vote for the three (3) 180′s you think should make the finals. We’ll let this semi-finals run for 48 hours, and on Wednesday we’ll chop it down to the final three and let you vote again.

Remember what’s up for grabs here:
Saga Fatigue pants, a (very slightly used) Saga Anomie jacket, Saga OG Logo hoody, Saga snapback, BroBomb facemask, and even BroBomb diecuts if we’re feelin’ it!  BOOM BOOM CONNECT!

**Wednesday Update: After some panicked misunderstanding of how our polling plug-in worked and some tech help from a reader (thanks @shoelaces), we were able to add the much-requested wildcard, Parker White’s backcountry 180 tail that is now that the last edit at the bottom. I’ll give you all an extension until tomorrow (Thursday) at Noon EST to vote for the finalists, so if PWhite’s trick is your jam, better get your friends to work voting. As of 10 am on Wednesday, Will Berman and Banks Gilberti are TIED with exactly 374 votes apiece, and LJ is hanging onto the edge of the bubble with only 22 more votes than John Ware. At 1,700 total votes, this shit is pretty exciting to follow, and the lead has changed several times. Thanks to all you ski nerds for participating!
