Well, the final round is upon us folks, and boy do we have a doozy on our hands! After the highest single-day traffic (by almost double) in BroBomb’s history and 2,655 votes cast, Banks Gilberti (scouted by Jake Krolick), Will Berman (scouted first by Danny Graves), and LJ Strenio (scouted by Mats-Kaarel Ruus) are your finalists. All three held the lead in the semis at different points in the voting, with Banks eventually pulling away with a narrow lead of 23 votes at 557. Berman held just a slim 3-vote lead on LJ, going 534 votes to 531, while John Ware fell out of the finals with 436 votes. Election nerds should note that all three finalists are within a percentage point of each other (20.98%, 20.11%, and 20%, respectively).
So with a whole batch of 15 & 20K goodies on the line from our friends at Saga Outerwear, our finals protocol is going to be pretty straightforward: you can now choose one (1) 180 that you deem to be the absolute best of 2012. While all three are dead-eye smooth and massive, they are completely different from each other. So which will you choose? Bankz’s massive landing-to-landing 180 safety at Sun Valley? Berman’s huge corked version from Windells? Or LJ’s shifty 180 bomb drop to the last six inches of the “landing” in Scandinavia? Whatever tickles your fancy, you have exactly 24 hours (until 2 pm EST tomorrow, Friday, January 18th) to cast your vote. Here we go:
